In January 2025, the team launched EarthMaker, the world's first visual cue-based remote sensing multimodal large model.

In August 2024 in Beijing, the team successfully hosted the International Union of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (IUTAM) Symposium on “Fluid Data Assimilation.”

In May 2024, the team launched EarthGPT, the first general-purpose large language model designed for the remote sensing field.

The team was awarded the First Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress by the Aeronautical Society.
